At Freddy Guys, our orchards are part of that tradition. Every season, we work alongside the rhythms of the valley — from winter pruning and spring pollination to harvest in the fall — to grow hazelnuts that reflect the land they come from.

Harvest
Unlike many crops that are picked directly from the tree, hazelnuts are typically harvested after they naturally drop to the ground once fully mature.
Once the nuts have dropped, harvesting equipment gathers the crop for cleaning and drying. Proper drying is essential for reducing moisture levels and helping preserve kernel quality
